Xenoblade Chronicles

Post  Tony Miller on Tue Jan 24, 2012 10:22 am

Quick, informal poll. Who is going to be buying Xenoblade when it launches next month? I know I'll be picking it up. If nothing else just to send the message to Nintendo that we want more of that type of game so they'll bring the Last Story and Pandora's Tower over here as well. Maybe it will also help the Wii U get some of those bigger RPG's that fans want as well.

Xenoblade looks like a great game and I can't wait to play it.

I can't say that I will. I have a large enough pile of shame that I really shouldn't get anything new until I finish up some of the old Crying or Very sad

Ahhh.... yes.

I have the same problem as Gil. Rolling Eyes But I already got my import copy... plus I preordered. That's because hardcore gaming on Nintendo platforms is one of my causes.

Yup, I received my PAL copy the exact same day I received my copy of Rayman from Amazon... Man, was it a joyous day. Smile

I played it for about 2 hours just to have the feel of it and it felt great. The story telling is great from the get-go and while the fighting controls are a bit confusing at first you get around it pretty fast. I let one of my friend borrow my copy from me because I knew I didn't have the time to play such an involved game at all, but I really do not regret it. pirat

If I get the money, I'll do the same for the Last Story because the limited edition looks really nice (youtube.com/watch?v=hVSb9WgnKVs). king

About sending the right message to Nintendo... You know when you complete those club Nintendo surveys... I got bored to fill those "the right way" and went on to do the Operation Rainfall advocate in every text field they gave me... that was fun. Razz Not sure if these will go anywhere... But you are right Tony, to buy the games is to send the right message. Vote for Nintendo gaming's future with your money.

Also Gil, if there is any game you need to buy in 2012, Xenoblade is the one. albino

I was ready to import a copy from Europe when they announced that it would be coming here so I decided to hold off and purchase a North American company. My gaming dollars will be voting for Xenoblade though.

If I can get a job and some money I will pick it up. Otherwise I need to save my money for little things like food and house payments.

I'm glad the priorities are in the right place. Surprising to see you got a good head on your shoulders... some of the time Razz
